The hamlet of Kardamyli is 47 km from the airport. Stroll through the cobbled stone streets of Old Kardamyli, go cafe hopping and witness the striking Tower of Mourtzinos. There are several hidden gems near Kardamyli that are well worth a visit — including Itilo, Areopolis, and the captivating Diros caves. Visit the age-stained church of Agios Spiridon. Built in Byzantium, it’s known for its awe-inspiring belfry. The city of Kalamata is 38 km away, home to a myriad of scenic beaches and stunning landscapes.
