Villa Gouvia Blue is a fantastic choice for large groups and celebrations. There are seven bedrooms in total sleeping up to thirteen guests in total luxury. The villa is sensational, right on the sea front with amazing, uninterrupted panoramic sea views, a gorgeous swimming pool and pool side stone gazebo, alfresco dining and gorgeous interiors. The local friendly village of Gouvia is a short stroll away with its charming bars and shops and there are two beautiful beaches within a few minutes walk of the villa. This luxury villa is surrounded with manicured lawns and a huge array of delightful palms, cypress, eucalyptus and olive trees. The views of Gouvia Bay, Gouvia Marina, the mainland and even as far as Corfu Town are absolutely amazing at all times of the day.
Gouvia is located on the northeast coast of Corfu, a small, charming, former fishing village which is now a modern holiday resort with plenty of amenities. It enjoys a pretty pebble beach and a stunning marina. There are many atmospheric restaurants, bars and cafes along the main street of the village. It is north of the buzzy and popular Corfu Town, not far from the famous Durrell White House in Kalami and the very charming Kouloura Bay.
Villa Gouvia Blue is comprised of a main house, The Cottage, a Room with a View and the Garden Bedroom. These extra rooms are reached from the terraces so they are not ideal for children alone. However, for multi-generational families and groups of friends, they are perfect suites with some private space. There is exceptional entertainment space in the main house and the grounds.
The villa’s privileged sea front position is evident in every room of this superb villa. The open plan living space is warm and inviting with plush sofas adorned with delightful scatter cushions and an elegant dining area. One whole wall of this spacious living room is comprised of floor-to-ceiling glass doors, illuminating the room, giving access to the fabulous terrace and offering guests brilliant sea views. The kitchen is fantastic with every possible appliance you could wish for. Four of the bedrooms are located in the main house, three gorgeous doubles and one single, all featuring stunning ensuite bathrooms. The three doubles enjoy characterful beamed painted ceilings and one even offers a feature fireplace. They are heavenly havens with spacious, beautifully finished bathrooms offering a mix of showers and baths. The single bedroom is also beautiful with a massive picture window offering spectacular panorama.
The cottage is a dreamy space with a charming double bedroom, an open plan living room and kitchen, a bathroom and a small outdoor terrace. Such a perfect spot for grandparents! The lush greenery surrounding the terrace frames the beautiful vistas. The cottage is accessed by small stairs off the front terrace.
The Room with a View offers a delightful double bedroom with an immaculate ensuite bathroom. It is so pretty with the same gorgeous tones of the sea and sky viewed from the large picture window. Again, it boasts a private terrace which is spacious and you won’t want to leave. This room is not suitable for young children. It is reached by a spiral staircase from the main terrace.
The Garden Bedroom also offers a double bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Accessed by small stairs off the main terrace, it is a white wonder. Villa Gouvia Blue also offers a fabulous games room with a table tennis, boxing bar and gloves, a running maching and a mini power plate.
The outside grounds are truly magnificent. The gorgeous large swimming pool is surrounded by beautiful plants as well as deluxe loungers. The stone gazebo alongside the pool adds so much character, a good spot to sit and plan the day’s adventures. The front terrace is the ideal place for evening drinks and looking out to the bay.

Gouvia is a fabulous spot for a summer holiday. With fantastic scenery all around, it boasts some wonderful restaurants and bars as well as charming boutiques and shops and a gorgeous white pebble beach. The marina is modern and beautiful. The views really are stunning with the sparkling Ionian Sea and Corfu Town on the horizon.
The beautiful, atmospheric resort of Kassiopi is located in the lively north eastern corner of Corfu. With the dramatic Mount Pantokrator overlooking the resort and with a stunning harbour, this once quiet fishing village is very popular and very attractive. It boasts charming narrow streets overlooked by the ruins of an ancient Byzantine castle and breathtaking views out to sea towards the Albanian coast. There is a gorgeous walk you can take around the headland.
Corfu Town or Kerkyra as it is otherwise known, is one of the most beautiful, graceful and elegant towns in Greece. Though seventh in size, it is one of the most populated in the whole of the Ionian Islands. The town’s stunning architecture has many influences including Sicilian, Venetian, French and English. Corfu Town is brimming with elegant mansions, magnificent palaces, beautiful squares, no fewer than 39 churches and majestic fortresses. You should not miss The Liston and the Church of Saint Spiridon. The entire Old Town is declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, a tightly-packed warren of winding lanes bursting with lively bars, unique shops, and fine restaurants. You will also see timeless alleys with the day’s washing stretching from balcony to balcony. It is beautiful.
There is so much to see and do on Corfu. Corfu has over 120 beaches in total, a few hundred villages, nearly a thousand churches, a significant mountain range, valleys, waterfalls, and forests as well as more than 3 million olive trees, three lagoons, and numerous caves. The fauna and flora are world-famous due to the Durrell family, especially since the TV series.
