So much has been said about the city that never sleeps, but people never understand what New York is until you experience it. Our Time & Place luxury vacation rentals put you in the heart of the Big Apple, and will dazzle you as much as this spectacular city.
New York is a city with no equal – superb architecture, the world’s greatest theater district, renowned galleries and museums, eclectic neighborhoods, cultural events and fantastic restaurants. And you will find yourself in the middle of it all.
Close your eyes and you can actually feel the electricity coursing through the city. It’s not the buildings or the streets that are producing this energy. It’s the people that create this palpable buzz, practicing their passion on Broadway, in music halls, even in the subway platforms underneath it all.
The city features thousands of restaurants — and food trucks — catering to the palates of almost every nation on the globe. Whatever your taste, from American fare to Armenian, Jamaican to Japanese, you will find it here, with the world’s best chefs taking care of the kitchen. Are you a lover of art? New York City is an artist’s Mecca with everything from traditional to the avant-garde. And shopping is an experience all its own. There are thousands of shops and boutiques spread throughout the city…

Many visitors consider the 10 days between mid-July and mid-August, when temperatures go up to around 100°F (38°C) with 90 percent humidity, as New York’s worst weather. But, summer in the city has its compensations, such as wonderful free open-air concerts and other events. During January or February, temperatures are commonly in the 20’s. The city looks gorgeous for about a day after a snowfall, but the streets soon become a slushy mess. Fall and spring are the best times in New York. From April to June and September to November, temperatures are mild and pleasant. When the leaves change in Central Park and the air begins to get crisp, October becomes a fabulous time.
