Villa Myrina is a captivating and modern holiday home with stylish design and brand new furniture and fittings. Monochrome grid-like exteriors have feature walls in coral and grey, and one wall is made of glass. This ensures every bedroom is sun-soaked and provides amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. Outside, the aquamarine plunge pool with elegant Roman steps is the perfect place to take a refreshing dip, while admiring the views and the row of fragrant plants along the edge. There are cushioned benches and plenty of seating on the terrace.
The airy, open plan living room is decorated in crisp white with soft grey details and splashes of vibrant blue. Decorative shelves show off interesting ornaments. There’s an enormous amount of space, and patio doors lead directly out onto the garden and pool area. The corner sofa is great to curl up as a family to watch a movie on the widescreen satellite television.
Just beyond the living room is the fully equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances and an American fridge, as well as an oven and dishwasher. There’s a chic breakfast bar, adorned with fresh flowers, which is a perfect spot to start the day. For those who lean more towards alfresco cooking, there’s a dedicated barbecue area with a worktop – dine on the terrace, in the outdoor living space or at the formal dining table inside.
The three bedrooms are all on the upper floor, decorated in fresh white with pale grey linen – the style is simple and chic with the focus on the glass wall. Wake up to amazing sea views and soak up the dreamy atmosphere. Two rooms are doubles, while the third has two sets of bunk beds, perfect for kids. All rooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets in pale wood. The bunk beds have cheerful bedding in yellow and blue. The master bedroom has its own ensuite, and the main family bathroom is also on this floor, decorated in warm pale grey tiles and with a glass-encased shower.
The roof terrace is the crowning glory of this villa – with an outdoor lounge with cosy seating and mesmerising views across the Mediterranean Sea. There is a luxurious hot tub where guests can take a bubbling soak with a fruity cocktail in hand – this is definitely the most enviable spot of this five-star villa.

Location:
A holiday in Cyprus is bound to be an unforgettable experience. The island is encircled with gorgeous white sand beaches, soaring mountains and dotted with ancient ruins. Further inland, there’s fantastic hiking and history, culture and delicious cuisine around every corner.
This villa is hidden away in a coastal village called Kapparis on the eastern coast of Cyprus. Just five minutes from a picturesque, unspoilt beach with crystal clear waters, Kapparis is also close to lots of bars, shops and restaurants. There are other villas within the complex, so guests are able to enjoy their privacy yet still have the opportunity to meet other guests.
A larger resort, Protaras, is a five-minute drive away. There are international restaurants, lively bars, and Protaras is also home to watersports mecca beach Fig Tree Bay. Named after its lone pine tree, this beach has sparkling waters, golden sand and Hellenic tombs that soar above it. Fig Tree Bay also has a fantastic array of aqua-based activities like windsurfing, waterskiing and paragliding. Delightfully picturesque, it’s one of the most famous beaches in the area for a reason.
Nissi beach is also a great choice in the nearby vicinity – this paradise beach has sugary soft white sand and swirling blue and green sea – perfect for scuba diving and snorkelling around the coral reef. Here you can watch marine life thrive in its natural habitat. You can also try watersports here.
Take a day trip to Paphos to discover more about the culture and history of the island. With incredibly well preserved Roman ruins with intricate mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings, it’s a great place to learn about one of the oldest civilisations in the Mediterranean. The Tombs of the Kings are a series of underground chambers and tombs from the Roman era that were revealed from beneath the surface many years ago.
Take a trip to Aphrodite’s Rock, a beautiful spot dedicated to the Greek goddess of love and beauty. Aphrodite is said to have been born of the sea foam in Paphos. Swim around the rock three times, and according to ancient mythology, you will be blessed with eternal youth, beauty, fertility, good fortune and true love. However, the sea here is rough – a pilgrimage to see Aphrodite’s Rock from the beach is a lovely idea.
Nicosia – Europe’s last divided capital – is a fascinating city, split between Greek and Turkish Cypriots. Its delightful Old Town has ancient city walls and the city is full of important and quirky museums. From Cyprus Museum, featuring an impressive collection of archaeological finds to the Museum of Shipwrecks, it’s perfect for a cultural day trip.
There are so many Cypriot delicacies to try all over the island – start with a traditional meze platter. This way, you can try out many different local dishes and dips such as tahini, taramosalata and skordalia. Of course, Cyprus is the home of delicious halloumi, grilled and served with pitta bread, salad and a side of hummus. For dessert, tuck into some syrupy baklava.
