Upstairs, you’ll find three air-conditioned bedrooms, all offering glorious views. The master double bedroom includes its own dressing area and a shower room, while there are two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. A separate annexe contains two spacious interconnected bedrooms, both with French windows opening out to the garden and en-suite shower rooms. The annexe’s double bedroom also opens onto a covered terrace with stunning valley views.

The villa is around a 15-20 minute steep walk to Tourtour, one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages.’ This charming Provençal village offers panoramic views and is home to several excellent restaurants, including the Michelin-starred La Table de Tourtour. The main square is especially picturesque, with café terraces and olive trees. There’s a twice-weekly market and numerous events during the summer.
Other historic villages within a short drive include Flayosc, Salernes, Entrecasteaux, and Lorgues, known for its Tuesday morning market, one of the largest in the region. Lorgues is also famous for its wine, with renowned vineyards such as Château de Berne.
For a day trip to the French Riviera, you can visit Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime, Fréjus, or Cannes, before returning to the tranquillity of your holiday home in Provence.

Maison Celte is located in the Haut-Var region of Provence, just an hour from the French Riviera coast, offering a beautiful setting just outside the idyllic hilltop village of Tourtour.
Tourtour is a charming Provençal village, classified as one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages.’ It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the village, although you may prefer to drive, as the walk is quite steep. The village features a patisserie for fresh bread and cakes, a small grocery store, as well as cafés and restaurants, including the Michelin-starred La Table de Tourtour. There is also a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, along with various events throughout the summer.
Explore the many beautiful nearby villages, including Flayosc (13km), a picturesque medieval village surrounded by vines, olive, and oak trees, or Lorgues (17km), famous for its Tuesday morning market and fine restaurants and wines. Other nearby villages like Salernes (11km) offer a charming atmosphere, with old fountains, café terraces, and pottery shops.
For outdoor adventures, visit the waterfall at Sillans-la-Cascade (17km) or the troglodyte caves in Villecroze (6.5km). The Verdon Natural Regional Park and Lac de Sainte-Croix (33km) are ideal for hiking, canoeing, and exploring breathtaking natural scenery.
For a day by the coast, the French Riviera offers a variety of destinations, from the glamour of Saint-Tropez (67km) to the glitz of Cannes (85km), with Sainte-Maxime, Fréjus, and Saint-Raphaël in between.
While a car is required for staying at Maison Celte, rail options and nearby train links make travel easy. Aix-en-Provence TGV is around 90 minutes away by car, and the closest station, Les Arcs – Draguignan, is perfect for short journeys to the coast or day trips to destinations like Monaco.

End of stay cleaning
Not included. A £300 cleaning fee is payable to the owner for standard changeover cleaning. Guests are required to leave the property clean and tidy, and any additional cleaning, laundry, maintenance, or rubbish disposal will be charged against the security deposit.

Pool opening dates
The pool is open approximately May to mid-October. Please note that pool opening dates depend on local weather and maintenance.
Pool heating charge
Pool heating is included in July and August. Outside of these months, heating is available for an extra charge, depending on weather conditions and intended use.
