DETAILS & AMENITIES

Maison Azur is a stylish village house with a swimming pool and garden, just a short stroll away from the bakery, local restaurants and weekly market. Located between Avignon and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, it is a fantastic base for exploring this wonderful part of Provence.

This warm and welcoming home is both elegant and comfortable with a gorgeous TV lounge alongside a contemporary yet characterful kitchen-diner with modern features and rustic flair. Floor to ceiling doors open out to the pretty garden and swimming pool whilst there are sun loungers on the lawn and lovely spots for coffee or apéritifs outdoors.

Next to the kitchen and also accessed from the garden, a relaxation space with exposed stone walls and wood beamed ceiling is the ideal place for families or friends to gather for drinks by the bar and convivial meals as well as ping-pong and table football. Doors yet again lead outdoors allowing you to enjoy long summer days chez vous.

Sleeping up to 6 guests, there are three bedrooms upstairs. The first double features a king-size bed and a romantic bath tub in the room alongside a bathroom with Italian shower. The other two doubles also have their own en suite shower room whilst air-conditioning is found throughout.

It’s lovely to be able to wander to the local Provençal village for pastries, fresh baguettes and the Friday morning market. It’s an attractive and sometimes vibrant village with summer festivities taking place.

To the north is the historic city of Avignon, only 15km by car, then the vineyards of the Rhône valley beyond. To the south is the artistic town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence where Van Gogh once lived, famed for its charming bistros, art galleries and Wednesday morning market, also the gateway to Les Alpilles.

As you explore the beautiful landscapes of Les Alpilles, come across idyllic villages such as Eygalières, Maussane-les-Alpilles and Les Baux-de-Provence, partake in a wealth of outdoor adventures and enjoy delicious meals in wonderful restaurants, from tiny bistros to Michelin starred establishments.

Travel a little further afield to admire the scenery of the Luberon or the Camargue and potter around the antique stores of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue – there are so many captivating corners of Provence to discover.
