If you are looking for a home with elegant finishes, a gourmet kitchen, upscale amenities, air conditioning and LOTS of room, this home is your spot for a fantastic vacation.There are two areas where you can park at Bear-a-dise: the lower driveway where there is a 2 car garage with steps leading up to the home or the upper driveway with a gently sloping ramp for easily unloading your luggage or for those who have difficulty walking. A large deck, that wraps around the cabin, offers a great spot to have your morning coffee at the outdoor table and chairs or the bear-flanked bench located near the front entry.Enter through the front door of this 4100 sq.ft. bear-filled cabin and you step into the window wrapped, golden pine trimmed Great Room with rustic banisters that lead upstairs to the open loft. At your left, you get a peek of the gorgeous gourmet kitchen but we’ll explore that after we step further into the Great Room with pine forest and mountain views from every window. Seating around the massive fireplace of native moss rock provides the perfect spot for conversation or quietly sitting beneath a throw while reading a book. The second seating area features substantial, automated recliners gathered around a wide screen TV or a great spot just right for admiring the view. You’ll love the oversized, rustic table for 8 – perfect for all your vacation meals. Just past the dining area, you can step out onto the deck from sliding glass doors to admire that fabulous view of downtown Estes Park. The large deck provides a propane grill and seating for outdoor meals.Let’s go to that beautiful kitchen now – a mountain fusion of custom hickory cabinets, black granite countertops, pinecone accents in the tile backsplash and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances including a great gas stove. For your convenience, the owners have provided a Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee pot plus a trash compactor. All the dishes, pots, pans and small appliances for cooking up vacation meals are there for your use. And, of course, you’ll find many bear accessories.Past the kitchen, you’ll see a door to the walkout basement below and a short hall. Let’s go to the hall and to your right for the first main level bedroom. This spacious Wild Bear Bedroom features a King Select Comfort bed (you and your bedmate can choose how firm or soft you’d like your mattress) and simply gorgeous mountain views. You’ll love the granite double sinks, hickory vanity and spacious shower in the Jack n’ Jill bathroom between the Wild Bear Bedroom and the next bedroom, the Wild Deer Bedroom. The Wild Deer Bedroom offers a Queen Select Comfort bed and has an attached sunroom. The sunroom is a great spot to soak in the mountain sun and has a Twin sleeper sofa for parents that want to keep a young one close.Back to the Great Room, we’ll head up the stairs where you’ll find a powder room. To the right is a spacious loft with a wide-screen TV and sliding glass doors to a private deck with the best view of the Stanley Hotel. To the left of the stairs, you’ll find the height of modern mountain luxury – the most gorgeous Master Suite in the Estes Valley. Entering the suite, you’ll love the bath on the right with its deep, jetted tub with large window to soak in the mountain views, two granite topped hickory vanities, an oversized shower and special bonus – a separate room with a convenient stacked washer/dryer and coffee bar. Across from the bath is an oversized walk-in closet. Now, step into paradise. This spacious bedroom with vaulted ceilings features a massive log King Select Comfort bed and a bear-filled sitting area for the best view in the house a panorama from the mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park to the Stanley Hotel to the peaks of Lump Ridge. A private deck is accessible from french doors flanked by windows. As you step into the Western influenced family room, you’ll first notice the impressive pool table surrounded by warm golden pine walls. And in the corner, a favorite of adults and kids – an arcade machine loaded with several video games for guests. A door leads to a walkway that features a protected patio with table and chairs, another great spot to enjoy the amazing Bear-a-dise views! Back inside and beyond the game area is an alcove with a Queen Select Comfort sleeper sofa tucked in front of a gas fireplace for cozy, mountain evenings. Down the hall from the family room is a large laundry with a full-size washer and dryer. At the end of the hall is a fourth bathroom with a hickory vanity and a large shower. The fourth Little Bear Bedroom features a Twin bed and a Twin bed with a Twin Trundle (3 twin beds total) – all wrapped in cuddly bear comforters. A fantastic spot for the kids. Non-urgent issues will be handled on the next business day.- This home does not have Central AC. Most homes in Estes Park do not have Air Conditioning given our mild climate. Screened Windows can be opened.- We provide a complimentary starter set of household items such as bath tissue, paper towels, and dish soap. We do not re-stock these items and if needed, additional supplies will need to be purchased locally by the guest.- This is a pet-free home. Pets are not allowed. You will be charged a $1000 cleaning fee for non-compliance.- Absolutely no smoking, including marijuana, inside this home. Cleaning for cigarette or marijuana smoke will result in a $1000 cleaning fee.- Parties are not allowed. This is a quiet neighborhood with strict noise restrictions. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm.
