Known for its uniquely distinct seaside characteristics, you’ll find enchantment in Cannon Beach. Haystack Rock in and of itself is worth the visit and is comprised of 235-foot tall basalt rock. One of the most iconic images on the Oregon Coast, it has been featured in movies, magazines, artworks, and in photos around the world. Here, you’ll create memories with friends and family to last a lifetime.
Once an eclectic beachside cabin, Driftaway has been transformed into its contemporary counterpart. Each detail of every room was designed with coastal beauty in mind. Crisply refreshing interior decoration is the centerfold, complimenting the charismatic views streaming through every window. National Geographic agrees, pointing to Cannon Beach as one of the top 100 most scenic places in the world.
Not only does the beachfront setting allow for delightful convenience, but the town itself is full of culture and adventure waiting to be explored. Visitors frequent hiking trips through Ecola State Park and can enjoy surfing, golfing, world-renowned galleries, brewery tours, and restaurants on the North Coast Food Trail. There is no shortage of activities for everyone in the company.
Designed to be a haven for family and friends, Driftaway is capable of sleeping up to 8 people and is equipped with all the modern luxuries, including a dependable WiFi arrangement.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Master: With a deluxe king-sized Sleep Number bed, crisp white linens, and an en-suite bathroom, the master is fully suited for luxurious relaxation.
Guest Rooms: The home includes two guest rooms, with both a queen set up and a bunk room that the kids will love. The triple bunk bed plus an additional twin can sleep up to 4 kids, making Driftaway perfect for multi-family vacations. Keep in mind that sleepers in the third and tallest bunk must be adeptly mature enough to stay safe while resting.
The Living Space:
Upon entering the home, you’ll be greeted by a wall of windows creating an immersive experience of the beach right away. Right through the sliding glass doors of the living room, you’ll also find an expansive deck with panoramic views of the coast, highlighted by Haystack Rock to the north.
The large stone fireplace and plush seatings are the perfect backdrops for leisurely beach days and stunning sunsets. Family time can also be enjoyed around a bonfire on the beach while roasting s’mores under the stars. Game night is on the roster as well, with setups for both ping pong and foosball.
Kitchen and Dining:
The kitchen is fully equipped with custom amenities including both Nespresso and Keurig coffee makers, bringing ultimate enjoyment to each morning. Perfectly sized for designing delicious meals, the kitchen is also spacious enough to accommodate large family gatherings while enjoying the incredible ocean views.
- The City of Cannon Beach allows only one check-in per 14 day period, which may limit availability at this home. Please reach out to discuss availability with us if you have any questions or concerns.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
All guests have access to our 24/7 guest experience line, a dedicated hospitality manager, and hotel-grade amenities.
This home comes with a pack n’ play travel crib and a high chair available.
The room configuration is as follows:

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We’ve enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce it. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.
We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
