This contemporary, white-washed villa is a truly stunning home with clean lines, floor-to-ceiling windows and high-end interiors. Two of the large suites are set on the ground floor, and each has access to the garden, a king-sized bed and fantastic en-suite bathrooms with roomy walk-in showers. The master suite is set upstairs on the first floor and offers a furnished balcony, a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a double walk-in shower.
The final suite provides privacy from the wider group as it is located in an annexe on the grounds. This suite has a king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom and a private, furnished pergola.
As you step outdoors, you will discover an incredible garden which has been carefully designed and is an excellent space for outdoor living. The garden spans across one hectare of land on a coastal peninsula and has plenty of seating and dining spaces where you can lounge in the sun and read your favourite book. The two swimming pools are fantastic and wrap around the home, overlooking the sea. You can even move between the pools as they are interconnected. The garden also has a full-sized tennis court, a barbecue area and a ping pong table, so you will never get bored when staying here!
When you wish to dip in the refreshing sea, you can reach a rocky beach by simply following the steps down from the garden. Here you will find a natural pool made from the rock where you can swim in the sea while being sheltered from the waves.
If you are looking for a sandy beach, many are within easy reach, including Lido Varco, a serviced beach club just 1km away from the villa. With sun loungers, parasols, a bar and a restaurant, you will have everything you need for a lazy day at the beach.

Sitting on a beautiful area on the rugged coastline in Sicily’s South East, Villa Plemmirio is a delightful base for exploring the nearby beaches, nature reserves and the city of Syracuse.
Though only 12km from the bustling city of Syracuse, the villa enjoys a serene setting where you can unwind on rocky and sandy beaches and head out on scenic walks in protected coastal parks. This area is ideal for beach lovers as the nearest rocky cove is just a few paces from the house via a private pathway! The home also boasts a natural seawater pool that opens to the sea. Those seeking a sandy beach with beach clubs and sun loungers will find one within a 1km walk. There are plenty more spread between the coastal resorts of Punta Milocca (4.5km away) and Arenella (7km away), where you will find well-equipped beach clubs, bars and restaurants.
On top of the gorgeous beaches in this area, there are also walking and hiking routes nearby, such as the Reserva del Plemmirio, a protected area which hugs the coastline. Walking along the signposted routes here, you can take in staggering sea views, see ancient ruins and monuments, pass a historic lighthouse and view amazing cliffs and rock formations. If you would like to get to know some breathtaking interior landscape, you could also visit the Riserva Naturale Integrale Grotta Monello, 24km away. A guided horse trek through this unique terrain is a fantastic way to explore.
If you want to do a spot of shopping or dine out for lunch, the nearest village Plemmirio is a mere 1km away, which makes an easy stroll. The village is small but offers a few shops and eateries. A number of the nearby beaches are also lined with further amenities.
When staying in this part of Sicily, you are also perfectly situated for discovering the charms of the city of Syracuse, only 12km away by car. The city is so close that you can visit plenty of times to dine, shop and visit ancient sites. The city is made up of modern, vibrant areas with international restaurants and boutique stores, as well as the old town, which is set on the beautiful island of Ortigia. Booking on to a walking tour is a brilliant way to get your bearings and learn more about the city. There are several tours available such as history tours and food tours. Syracuse and Ortigia Island are packed with historic churches, art galleries and museums, so you will have lots to see and do here. The Archaeological Park Neapolis is Syracuse’s most famous site; this vast park is filled with impressive Greek and Roman ruins and is much-loved by all ages. After a busy day of walking, you should head to a family-run trattoria on Ortigia island for delicious food and unrivalled sea views.
