THE SPACE

There is something for everyone at Pelican’s Porch, whether relaxation, beach’n, or fun activities. Fondly named the Pelican’s porch because of our relaxing front porch with two swings, dining for six and a couple of Adirondack chairs. There are some fun activities, such as corn hole in the back yard and a ping pong table located on the garage level.

Home is located off Ocean Blvd on Eighth Street at East Beach. There is an elevator for your use as this home does have steps and multi levels.

Bedroom layout is: Master on living level with a King Size bed, ensuite bathroom with double vanity and step in shower. Off the Master suite is a day bed for additional sleeping in the sunroom. Off the kitchen is a half bath for guest use. Upstairs are two additional guest rooms. One with a King Size bed, adjoining bathroom with combo tub/shower. Second guest bedroom has 2 single beds, a day bed with a trundle with adjoining bathroom with combo tub/shower. There is an additional air mattress in the storage room upstairs.

Kitchen is nicely equipped. There is a drip, single serve and a percolator coffee pot. On the parking level is a gas grill.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould’s Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Pets: This home is dog friendly with $150 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can’t host breeds known to insurance carriers as ‘vicious’, please ask if you’re not sure.

Elevator: This property offers an elevator. As a residential elevator it is not guaranteed to be ADA compliant.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups.We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Booking Policy: Unfortunately we can’t host reservations that create 1-2 night gaps.
