When it comes to interior design, you won’t find it better than at Villa Jordina. Absolutely dripping with top-quality furnishings and characterised by its cool, contemporary decor and lighting design, the villa features achingly cool Philippe Starck designs and a gorgeous Italian Bontempi kitchen for a real touch of ‘hotel chic’. Decorated throughout in fresh white tones and accented by chunky wooden beams, the villa’s wonderfully free-flowing layout and stylish floor-to-ceiling windows and french doors ensure that the interior is flooded with light. The villa benefits from being all one level, making it an ideal accommodation for older or very young guests and for those with mobility issues. Access to the outdoor area is easy, with just one step that can be accessed if necessary using a small ramp.
Villa Jordina features a spacious open-plan lounge/diner with a sumptuous L-shaped sofa on which to relax and a wall-mounted satellite TV. From here, you and your guests can enjoy spectacular views across the beautiful gardens and pool area and to the Tramuntana mountains beyond. The dining space has an ultra-modern dining table and seating for eight guests and leads out onto the covered terrace – the perfect place to retire for after-dinner drinks.
Villa Jordina’s kitchen is nothing short of a work of art, with sleek, modern chrome and stainless steel fittings and featuring all of the food prep space and modern conveniences you’ll need to prepare delicious meals for the whole family.
Villa Jordina serves as the main ‘casa’ or ‘house’, accommodating four of the six bedrooms; three doubles and a twin, with the master featuring a fabulous four-poster bed. All of the rooms are decorated to a high standard in dazzling white with exquisite stone flooring and comforting soft furnishings, all of which promise a full and relaxing night’s sleep. Each bedroom benefits from modern ensuite facilities, with the master featuring a stand-alone bath.
The other two bedrooms can be found in the cosy casita (‘little house’) located across from the pool area. This pretty little addition features its own private covered terrace and is ideal for a family of four with its double and twin bedrooms. The casita is also complete with a family bathroom and a cosy chill-out area with a sofa and flat-screen TV, making it perfect if you have two or more groups holidaying together who want the option of enjoying some privacy during their stay.
The grounds of Villa Jordina are dominated by the landscaped garden, which features beautiful mature trees and a lush lawn – kept looking its best thanks to an automatic irrigation system. There is a small playground area on the grounds, as well as a ping-pong table to provide some after-dinner entertainment, and, of course, taking centre-stage is your own private pool flanked by sun loungers and parasols. The villa benefits from two covered terraces; one off of the living area that features a built-in barbecue and beautiful dining furniture – perfect for alfresco meals, and a small breakfast terrace that can be found on the west side of the villa.
For those who go on holiday isn’t an excuse to let their fitness regime slide, there’s also a small gymnasium that guests can use during their stay.

Villa Jordina is located between the former fishing village of Puerto Pollensa and the ancient town of Pollensa, meaning that guests are able to enjoy a day at the beach just as easily as they are able to spend the day wandering around the city. Puerto Pollensa is known for its beautiful marina and horseshoe bay that is filled with bars and restaurants to enjoy during your stay. The long, sandy stretch of beach here is one of the most popular with families holidaying in the region and is furnished with sun loungers and cool beach bars.
If you venture to the other side of the port, you’ll discover D’Albercuix Beach running alongside a promenade known as the ‘Pine Walk’ due to the fact that it is lined with tall pine trees. This beach is smaller and less ‘touristy’ than Puerto Pollensa beach, making it a firm favourite for those who are visiting the region with younger children.
Puerto Pollensa is just a short distance from the ancient town of Pollensa – one of Mallorca’s most attractive towns. Pollensa’s winding cobbled lanes, stunning main square and historic architecture, make it a must-see destination during your stay.
Here you’ll find a vibrant mix of cultures that have influenced the monuments and buildings in the town over thousands of years, including the Calvari Steps and the medieval church and watchtower. The town is small and easy to explore on foot, but be aware that it is a steep and uneven walk, so good footwear is a must!
Another little gem that deserves a visit during your time in Pollensa is Museo Dionis Bennassar, the home of a local artist that is now used to showcase his incredible works. This peaceful and inspirational place is the perfect spot for art lovers, as well for anyone who wants to enjoy some quiet contemplation while soaking up some local culture.
After a day of wandering the pretty streets, looking at the fresh produce in the market and marvelling at the views, be sure to stop at a local bar or cafe for juice, coffee or wine….before heading to one of the many restaurants in the town for traditional Mediterranean fares such as Tumbet (a vegetarian dish of aubergines, potatoes, red peppers, garlic, tomatoes and love oil), or perhaps a fresh seafood dish, salad or burger.
