The famed rocky bay of Punta Galera lies only a 15-minute drive away from Villa Malta. The bay is popular with divers jumping into the inviting sparkling waters.
Punta Galera’s unique rock formations look breathtaking against the bright blue sky and gorgeous sea. The area also makes a wonderful snorkelling spot where you can discover a vibrant array of marine life.
Popular with both local residents and tourists, the rocks provide a special way to enjoy Ibiza in a calm and tranquil setting. Due to being in such a serene environment, Punta Galera is also a favourite for early morning yoga enthusiasts, those who wish to meditate and even nudists.
Refreshments including beer can be bought from a naked hippy who is usually waiting for passers-by. As the bay has very little shade, it’s best to avoid visiting during midday in the summer, as it’ll be far too hot.
Horse riding amongst the hills is a fantastic way to discover the island. You’ll feel completely free and at one with nature at Ibiza Horse Valley which organises both half and full day rides. A half day ride will take you through the magnificent mountains of North Ibiza and a full day will end with swimming with the horses.
