Thrill-seekers will love mountain biking in the vast network of trails around Las Catalinas, more than six miles of unspoiled wide single-track loop. For a more relaxed pace, try the McHenry Peak trail for a dramatic hike with stunning views in all directions.

If you are seeking relaxation on the beach, you will love Playa Dana, our tranquil beach with palm trees swaying in the wind. Lola, our quaint restaurant will make sure a supply of the fresh ceviche and cold Imperial beer keep you happy. For a change of pace, head south to the tranquil towns of Potrero and Flamingo, where you’ll also find some more delightful restaurants.

If you want to try your luck with the fish, you can test yourselves with some of the best deep-sea fishing in the country. If you would rather just admire the fish, scuba dive and explore the scintillating underwater world at Islas Santa Catalinas.

If you are a surfer, you’ll be stoked to know that a string of world-famous surfing spots exists literally on your doorstep. Plan to visit Playas Ventana, Grande and Avellana, plus the lively surf town of Tamarindo.
