DETAILS & AMENITIES

With 90 acres of private land around you, this house is the perfect escape from day-to-day life, where you can make memories with your family or your closest friends. This welcoming villa is a wonderful base for day trips to local beauty spots such as Lake Trasimeno. Assisi, Gubbio, Spello and Deruta are all wonderful places to visit less than an hour away.

This two-story home oozes typically Umbrian style; the exposed stone, wooden ceiling beams, open fireplaces and terracotta tiles all add charm and sense of history to the villa, making it an inviting and comfortable place to spend your holiday. The owners have also made sure to add modern touches to the house for the comfort of the guests, including brand new bathrooms, a contemporary kitchen, TVs and Wi-Fi. You will approach the villa through the serene private land and towering trees, up to the graveled forecourt in front of the house. Entering the home, you will find a large living room with sofas, armchairs and a TV. Some of the armchairs are placed by a vast window so you can take in the amazing views as you enjoy your morning coffee. The kitchen is just next door, this room is fitted with all of the appliances and crockery you will need during your trip if you decide to cook for yourselves. The gleaming steel units contrast with the ancient wooden beams above to create a harmonious blend of old and new. You can opt to dine in this room at the table by the kitchen or in the separate dining room overlooking the grounds.

There are four bedrooms for you to choose from; two of these have air conditioning, while the others are cooled by ceiling fans. There are three bedrooms with double beds and one which can be configured as a double or a twin room to suit your needs. Whichever bedroom you choose, you are sure of a great night’s sleep as you will hear nothing but the wind in the trees outside. Each of the four bedrooms are spacious and boast exquisite bed linen, with pretty details such as colorful rugs and exposed stonework, they also have ensuite bathrooms.

Outside, there is plenty of space for unwinding in the sun as the kids run around. The garden here is large and has a private infinity pool, covered lounge areas and dining spaces. You could easily spend all day out here in the garden and walking in the surrounding grounds.

When you wish to dine out or need to go grocery shopping, the nearest amenities are around 8km away by car. There are also many more villages and small towns 14km away where you will find larger ranges of shops and eateries. If you would like a full day of sightseeing and shopping, you could spend the day in historic Umbertide which is 16km away or visit Perugia, the capital of Umbria which is only 26km away.

If you are heading to Umbria to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can simply spend your time taking lengthy walks and hikes in the local hill trails.
