This 13th-century mill has been lovingly renovated into a comfortable country home which maintains much of its original character and rustic charm. Wooden beams and exposed brick walls feature throughout while many of the rooms also boast large stone fireplaces. The mill’s ancient underground vault offers a glimpse into its former life and now provides a unique location for a lavish jacuzzi!
Two double bedrooms with marble ensuite bathrooms can be found upstairs while downstairs offers the perfect place for everyone to get together. Whether you’re flexing your culinary skills in the kitchen, having a romantic al-fresco meal under the stars or spending cozy evenings in front of the fire, there’s a space for every mood and occasion.
Outside is just as lovely, with grassy lawns, shady trees and nearby woodland offering lots of greenery. A stream trickling beside the house adds to the idyllic scene and there’s nothing more serene than sitting in the sunshine with your morning coffee and listening to the sound of the water. Enjoy refreshing dips in the pool as well, or, once the sun sets, hop in the outdoor hot tub.
To discover the outstanding natural beauty that Umbria possesses, all you need to do is explore the estate surrounding you. There are woods, olive groves, valleys and rivers just beyond your doorstep. Take longs walks and spot some of the estate’s wildlife or try fishing in one of the rivers.
