Speakeasies

Speakeasies: Although most are difficult to gain entry to, new speakeasy and “secret” bars are constantly popping up all over the city.

Our Concierge team, always on the know, shares are a few notable ones.

  • PDT – Located at 113 St. Mark’s Place, this bar hides behind a phone booth in a hot dog selling shack. Pick up the receiver and see if you can enter. They do accept a limited amount of same day reservations by calling 212.614.0386 after 3:00 p.m.
  • Cien Fuegos – Located at 95 Avenue A, this secret rum bar is located in the upstairs area of a small Cuban sandwich shop. Just ask for the bar by name and the staff will seat you when a table is ready. Enjoy expertly made cocktails to share from antique silver punch bowls and glasses.
  • Employees Only – Located at 510 Hudson Street and only discovered by those who know to look for the neon “Psychic” sign, the atmosphere at Employees Only was created to evoke the frivolous spirit of the 1920s and ‘30s and has some of the best mixologists in the city creating custom cocktails.

Ask us about new speakeasies since they are always new ones opening all the time…..
