The estate’s main villa, which can accommodate up to ten guests, is available for rental on its own or in combination with the granary guest house, which can host an additional four guests in total luxury.
The estate is located in the true heart of Tuscany. Upon arrival, prepare to be swept away by views of the sun-drenched Chianti hills and some of the world’s most prestigious wineries. Guests are fully immersed in a land of charming Medieval hill towns, winding roads, enchanting castles, and idyllic scenery.
The silence and privacy of the estate create a deceptively secluded atmosphere where guests feel miles away from civilization. In reality, this stunning property is just a short distance from an infinite choice of adventures, excursions, and experiences to delight both the imagination and the senses.
The authentic Tuscan farmhouse and granary accommodate up to 10 guests. Lovingly restored in 2017, the estate features an authentic working fireplace from the Middle Ages, an outdoor swimming pool and a custom-designed Tuscan kitchen with a working fireplace. The interiors feature a maze-like succession of open and intimate spaces filled with an abundance of natural sunlight. Finely crafted Tuscan antiques were sourced from around the region and refurbished including the custom-made hand-carved wood furniture and fine antiques – large mirrors, elegant tables, chairs, sideboards, and hand-carved wood and wrought iron chandeliers. Each en-suite bathroom has been outfitted with Italian Tuscan marble and travertine stone.
The estate neighbors some of the most prestigious wine producers in Tuscany. Just down the road is Fonterutoli, a historic hamlet where visitors can opt for a tasting at the Mazzei family winery, in the business of Chianti Classico for centuries. In the opposite direction lies Castellina in Chianti; Enjoy a stroll through the town’s medieval tunnel followed up by shopping the many bottegas and a trip to a favorite local gelateria. In the summer months, the town’s streets and open piazzas are the perfect settings for a delicious dinner immersed in scenes of true Tuscan life.
The estate is within easy reach of both Florence and Siena, major cultural hubs and UNESCO world heritage cities offering unlimited treasures in the form of art and museums, historic visits, gastronomy and entertainment. Other towns that merit a visit and are easily reached from Chianti include Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Volterra, Cortona, Perugia, and the Val D’Orcia.
