Ideally situated, overlooking the dramatic crashing waves of the blue Atlantic and just a few steps from the most popular beach in the ultra-chic beach town of La Barra, this stunning contemporary, designed by famed architect Martin Gomez, takes advantage of the most amazing views of both the Atlantic Ocean as well as the skyline of Punta del Este. In addition to nature's most inviting swimming (the warm Atlantic which graces the town of La Barra), guests will also enjoy a well-located lap pool overlooking the ocean. This house comes with full maid service ,pool boy and a daily cook.

Living Room/Dining Room/Outdoor Terrace:
One enters this natural stone contemporary through a garden pathway that quickly opens up to the breathtaking views of the crashing Atlantic beyond the lap pool. One turns left into the main living area, which is a large living room and dining area (with oversized fireplace), decorated in cool white and taupe with touches of hot pink and green. Graced on the East façade by floor to ceiling sliding doors this affords both living and dining areas with unending views of the ocean and the city lights of Punta del Este. These same sliding doors open to a generous deck overlooking the crashing waves, which deck offers guests two large couches, chairs, and four luxurious chaise lounges—all covered in crisp white linen—perfect for entertaining and sun bathing.

The dining room consists of two large dining tables and contemporary white banquet seating for as many as 20 dinner guests. From the dining room, guests can enjoy both the fireplace (for those cool evenings) as well as the crashing Atlantic beyond.

Kitchen:
A no-nonsense kitchen with two refrigerators, a five burner stove with a convenient pass through to the dining room provides adequate opportunity for catered or guest cooking. It also enjoys an immense outdoor grill to enjoy world famous Argentinean beef or barbecue "asado." Adjacent to the kitchen is a small staff bedroom with bunk beds and bath—which bedroom has not been counted among the five described more fully herein but could used for additional guests.

First Floor Media Room and Family Room:
Walking down a contemporary staircase from the living room is a spacious family/media room which comfortably seats 12 people and enjoys a large plasma TV as well as an adjacent enclosed indoor/outdoor terrace—furnished from November through May with luxurious white couches and chaises, affording guests wonderful reading/napping and relaxing by the rhythmic waves of the Atlantic.

First Floor Bedroom (one of five bedrooms):
The ground floor also boasts a guest room with double bed and adjacent full bath. This bedroom overlooks the ocean and enjoys the sleep-inducing sounds of the Atlantic.

Master Suite (second of five bedrooms):
This dramatic second floor suite with truly postcard views of both the Atlantic and the city lights of Punta offers guests an unforgettable oceanfront experience. Adjacent to the contemporary bedroom, with queen bed, is a large walk in closet and a very cool contemporary en-suite master bath—which includes a fantastic large window in the shower with unending views of the ocean and La Barra beach.

Second Floor Bedrooms (third, fourth and fifth bedrooms):
Located down the hallway from the master suite are three bedrooms most suitable for younger guests. Two of these bedrooms have twin beds, while the third has a bunk bed, thus providing comfortable sleeping on the second floor for two adults and six children. Adjacent to these three bedrooms is a full bath (with shower only).

Boat on the Beach is a great entertaining house and a true "showstopper," but it is also an oceanfront residence that offers a wonderful respite for two couples and up to eight children.
